Well I'm a bit embarrassed to ask for help on such a simple thing,

but at this moment I just feel like having the last puzzle in my hand

and Still not know where to put it.

Bill of components 2 LT44 transformers 4 Schottky diodes  and  3 jacks :-\

Schematic : http://synthdiy.com/files/2002/ringmod.jpg

Mesures :

Both LT44 identical on primary and on secondary so I assume no shorts

Each schottky still 2.6V drop, same here ,should work

But, when I connect input->guitar, 50Hz sine -> carrier , out -> amp , I only hear 50Hz  :icon_eek:

When I reverse input and output , no sound (This ought to give identical sound ?!)

Resistance on input and output jack 1.26k ,but 8.8k on carrier.

What is it I don't get?

Thanks for reading!

JM

Keep on soldering!

IHMO some gain for your guitar will be needed, try one LM 386 amp. Good luck

I tried a booster in front of it,but it just amplified the 50Hz sine, must be something else.

Keep on soldering!

Ok ,after a night of sleep ,I  finaly  understood what I've measured:

The LT44 are not suitable for this application , I'll have to use a

1:1 transformer.

Keep on soldering!
And don t burn fingers!
