Ge Fuzz Face not working

Hi there,

I just finished building my germanium Fuzz Face but it isn't working. I have no sound in bypass and when turning all the knobs to max and engaging the pedal I have very low volume. I just this layout. Any know where to start debugging? Here are some pics:

  I had what was close to FF topology sound like that a few times.
 3 times I replaced 'the 470' where I'd put a 470k, third times a charm so I began measuring every BOM component I'd laid out, just prior to installing it.
 The bottom half is a little bit convoluted to debug, but it could be the front end or the switching.
 Multiple problems may make it difficult to determine if a problem has been solved, consider ditching everything except the circuit board so that debugging [read and follow the sticky thread directions] techniques can be applied.
 Count a nodes number of connections, note polarity of any part marking that doesn't look the same way reversed [components with markings like 'tot' can be put in either way around. Compare the schematic node counts/polarities to the circuit by verifying each one with the DMM.
 Voltages from ground can be measured as 'proportions' of the power supply [include PS voltage reference], either polarity of circuit 'works'...then the real debugging can begin, often it's a simple thing, other times it's a matter of counting an 'extra node'...after finding it through a sometimes lengthy process of elimination.
 Anyway, the voltages and the probe, ditching the switching and using a battery/clip helps eliminate the need to simultaneously/ineffectively debug multiple processing problems.
 A 'spare' set of input/output mono jacks can be fitted into a box with a non conductive tray-top through which the 3 'bare necessity' wires [input, output, ground] have been fed for the test clips. Setting the circuit, IDing the input, then ground connection, leaves only the output [which should make a 'thumbuzz' sound through the amp when you touch the testjig's output testclip].
 The testjig connections can be verified by using a cable to the amp and one to the guitar, connect the input/output testclips and the guitar signal can be verified as feeding the input testclip and the output testclip is feeding the amplifier. Test for ground between the jack sleeves with DMM. Audio probe to find the output testclip/jack to amplifier, then mark the output and input jacks.
