Anyone know what the 'Clean Machine' layout actually does?

It's a volume pot in a box, it does the same thing as the volume knob on your guitar, except you can stomp on it to go from loud to quiet.
It's called the clean machine because the idea is you put it in front of a dirty amp, and then use the pot to lower the volume giving you a clean sound.

Here's a similar thing with a video showing what it does http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=94317.0

just buy a volume pedal, with volume 'adjust'hi/lo pot...very handy pedal....especially live

great for kicking ass and backing off a bit...

i bought one of those cheapo daphon ones off ebay...works a treat for a cheapo....

and if you ever get bored with it, you have an experimental wah box to mess with too :icon_cool:

Thanks heaps.  Figured as much.  Volume pedal is my list of things so might stick with that.  The Daphon looks the goods for now.
