Hey guys I thought I would build one of these cause they look pretty awesome. Im doing it on a breadboard. I will use a 9v battery and a 5v regulator for my supplies. I have the chorus chip, but can I use a tl072 as the opamp chip?

i just tried it with no luck, completely rebuilt it and still no luck. I check voltages at the input for the chips and their both proper, 5v at the chorus chip and 9v at the opamp chip. Any ideas why this might not be working? When I hook the battery up its like playing through with no change, deifnitely no chorus sound. With battery disconnected with pedal still hooked up i get a large volume loss. Any Suggestions?

Can you ascertain that the LFO is running? If you hook up a DMM to the LFO output does the voltage wiggle?  Which version are you building? The birthday edition' later in the thread has an anti lock up circuit included. Your PT may be locking up.

Also built the LA version I got chorusing and no latching problems but I really have a very large amount of volume loss.. I checked and everything is ok and working, just the volume loss issue really bugs me. I played with the 470K and 1M resistors on the opamp by replacing them with variable resistors but still the signal is still weak and if I change the value of those resistors, the weak signal gets distorted.  ??? ???

double check everything, I built it and it worked perfect. Try swapping anything that could be troubled.
