Cool way to compare real and simulated tone stacks

I found a cool way to compare simulated tone stack performance (like in Duncan's Tone Stack Calculator) with a real tone stack.

You can see it in this video (with no sound):

It should be possible to check the frequency response of most any pedal with this method.

The mini-DSO has a built-in signal generator that you use as the input to tonestack/pedal.  The app just sweeps the frequency range, and the resulting output is recorded from one of the analog channels.

That's a neat bode plot, but I still prefer FFT with white noise, it can show resonance, how long it takes for the filter to stop ringing.

Well, maybe someone can write an app for that - although you might need an external source for the white noise.
