Here's a picture of my latest build.

It's 2 bazz fuss circuits, one with MPS13A transistor, the second with 3904 transistor.  Can have either or both on (both is crazy - like Jesus and Mary Chain or something!). The MPS13A darlington gives a smooth sustained fuzz, the 3904 is much more gated-sounding.

This feeds into a Big Muff type tonestack, at the moment I'm using the same values as the "Swollen Pickle" uses, but I think I might change that.  Really all I wanted was to be able to round the treble of slightly, not cut the mids as I want to be heard over my band.

Then I used an LPB-1 to boost the level up again.  I want plenty of boost available, but as it was there was too much gain so I tamed it a bit by altering the emitter resistor to 2k (thanks to advice from folks on here).

Anyway, I think it sounds great and I'm very pleased. Will post sound clips soon.

I realise (after starting this build) that other people have made very similar circuits!  The main thing that's different about mine is that I can switch between fuzzes.

I dig it! I don't have anything in a box, but I have put BMP tone stacks on the end of BF's quite a few times on the breadboard. I really love the sound. IMO, it sounds like a Big Muff with a much simpler texture to the distortion. Bazz Fuss is definitely one of my all time favorite circuits.
Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!

Nice! It's like a better version of the EHX Double Muff.
