hmmm ive seen 1.8mm....just not 1mm...i can't do smd as they have to go through holes...

3mm is the smallest I've ever seen regular.

I've seen the 1mm on google now..

it's those square blocks with protruding lens.. the leads are not parallel, but in line.

yeah i have fibre optics...ive tried that, with some success, .....hmmmm....

ive seen plenty of 1.8mm's...for models etc...just not 1mm for sale anywhere!

edit@ arph, those will do fine as i want them in series?..linky?.

In the past i've countersunk a 1mm hole in the enclosure to accept a larger led in behind, then to give it a flush appearance on the face side, filled the 1mm portion of the hole with quick set epoxy which sets clear, then finally sanding the epoxy flush with the top of the enclosure.

^ yeah cool idea, may have to settle with that...cheers...or get the 1.8mm's and do that...

edit: just bought 20 x 1.8mm leds...i'll give that a go... cheers guys!..
