Big Muff DC Jack Replacement

Hi everybody :)

Today I decided that I want to change the Big Muff's DC jack to a standard Boss DC jack.
My question is if doing this only requires me to desolder the wires the are soldered to the jack, then make the hole a bit larger using my drill, and then just re-wire the wires to the new jack?

This is the jack that's installed right now:

Sounds about right to me. Where are the two red wires going?

The two red wires should be the +9v lines (to board and battery).

Should be a simple swap.

Not unless there is some special reason to get white ones, or unless they are white because they are ceramic or something, but those look exactly like the ones I get from Tayda for 19 cents.
