Hi,
For my first post on this forum, I have a question for you, DIY experts !
How could I mod my Deja Vibe 2 in order to be enable a 'Cancel' function in place of the 'On/Off' bypass thing ?

Thanks by advance,
Eric

Welcome Eric!
I'm unsure how a "cancel" function would differ from on/off bypass. Could you explain in more detail please?

For a classic Univibe the cancel switch turns the bulb off and has nothing to do with signal bypass. Replacing the bypass with this would make the effect always on and the LDRs stuck in dark mode when "canceled".

I highly suggest you leave it with true bypass for such mods are redundant unless you're worried about the lamp frying out. You could get a larger foot switch (4P3T instead of 3P3T) and add this with the bypass relay so when your guitar is bypassed, the lamp is off. Or simply implement the cancel function to a separate toggle.

But again, this is very much not needed. I wouldn't worry about the life of the lamp.

That's exactly what I'm after. I'd like to get this sound at my disposal.

Excellent idea! Would you advise me to contact Fulltone to get exact indications on how to proceed ?

I don't. For me this mod is all about tone.
