EB3 Schematic

So according to Gibson documentation, the original EB-3 basses are supposed to switch as follows:

1= neck
2= bridge
3 = bridge/neck (parallel)
4 = bridge with some kind of notch filter

However, I found these 2 schematics and to my eyes both schematics seem to show the choke/notch filter in the circuit for both positions 3 and 4, as opposed to just position 4.  Am I smoking crack here.  Both schematics are below.
