A/B & C switchbox?

I have a two channel amp that does not have channel switching capability. So, I was planning to build a basic A/B box such as this one at GGG: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/projects/15-boostersrouters/215-ab-switch-box?phpMyAdmin=78482479fd7e7fc3768044a841b3e85a

Meantime, I got this "great" idea of also including a secondary 3PDT switch and output jack to allow selecting of another amp. Only one amp would be active at a time.

So, A/B for channel switching only off one switch & set of output jacks, and what I am calling C on another switch and output to select between two amps (either/or, not both at the same time).

I realize there is a risk of noise from a ground loop. But, except for the logic, I have the stock on hand to build this for next to nothing. If it works - great! If not, I'll  have to come up with another idea.

I can do the A/B side of things, but need help wiring up the C side. Can anyone help?

Thanks
Ray K.

my first pedal project was a mixture of 3 different routing schemes. in the end it was a 1590D with 11 1/4" jacks and i think 4 footswitches each with an LED. it was an AB true bypass loop + Y +tuner/mute. it murdered the tone and signal level. i put in an IC buffer but it still wasnt a success. it became a parts corpse.i suggest drawing the signal route on paper and then drawing the wiring between the switches and jacks.
-footswitch 1 is AMP 1: A or B
-footswitch 2 is footswitch 1 or AMP 2

is that right? sounds pretty easy. its just two A/B switches

Hey Karl,
Yep, that's exactly what I'm trying to do, and I agree that it should be easy. I just haven't had the time yet to draw it out and was hoping someone would have already done something like this, or similar.

I needed to get going, so I built an A/B for channel switching of the amp yesterday. Used a 1290B with battery or power supply for the LED's. It works great, is silent and there is no signal loss.

Thanks,
Ray K.

this should do 'er:

add LEDs if you need them, but this is totally passive.

Karl, Thanks!! This schematic makes sense and I agree that it should do what I want. I'll post back when I get this project together...maybe with photos.  :)
