Hello!

I am looking for a particular type of 1/4 inch jack (below). Any help finding it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

ooh... I may be in the market for a couple as well if those are the same crapass jacks in boss ME's. The one I have has 2 that are broken. The board is fine, but the jacks are... jacked.

Check out CE Distribution

I stock it:

Note: CE Dist is wholesale only. When you need One of something in their (extensive and useful!) catalog, their retail outlet is www.tubesandmore.com.

I had one go out in my ME-30. It looks just like that one. I was lucky enough to find one locally. The only other thing I don't like about it is the tiny bypass button, grrrr.

Lol... yeah, I always thought that was pretty lame. If I get this one fixed, I'm just going to run it in manual mode. If I remember right, I can still switch effect banks but the effects just act like a normal pedal board with presets. The tiny tuner button on the older ones is a killer, too. About worth it to make a remote switch pad that sits higher, or remote foot switches and set the ME on a table or something. Damned jacks are fragile enough, it seems like a better option.

I wish there were enough room, I'd just wire in something reliable. This ME is why I decided to NOT board mount my jacks together. I was leery of board mounting a lot of stuff until not too long ago. I finally came to the conclusion that a lot of board mounted items were done for cost, and fad. It seems like electronic manufacturers in the mid-80's through the late 90's were big on this until they finally started getting returns (then it seems like they just update their return policies, lol). I noticed more and more equipment moving  away from protruding board mount components unless it has a way of mechanically securing it to the chassis (like we do around here with pots and stomp switches).
