Boss DD-2 Very Weak sound

Hell0 all, my friend send me his dd2 for repair . . the sound was very weak when engage and off... does anybody has the same problem? I did some research but i cant find a clear solution.. is it the electros causing this problem? "leaky"? or the electronic bypasS?  :icon_question:
