So yea i basicly plugged in the wrong polairty and some sparkles appeared and when i tested the pedal the one position didn't work and also the depth wasnt so deep as it should be.

Also is it ok if i just switched the cables to get the "proper" polarity on the pedal?

Anyone knows what might got damaged becaue of the wrong polarity?

Thanks!!!

What might have gotten damaged is every semiconductor and polarized capacitor in it.

Clearly, it's doing something, so not 100% of them were killed, only some of them?

How to find which are damaged and which are still good? Read "Debugging; what to do when it doesn't work".

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
