Cool looking lightshow

I too am obsessed with pedal lighting options, as youd know.  I was thinking about your sound-to-light circuit and I had an idea (ah-oh...look out).

Bascially, you'd have 4 or maybe 6 LED's coming off the sound to light output, with each responding to a different frequency?  One for 0-200hz, one for 200-800hz, etc.  So depending on where your playing on the neck / what your playing (notes / chords) different lights would light up.  Sounds good in theory but unfortunately even after all this time building pedals, i'm still essentially design-incapable.

What do you think?

Just had a great idea... with a DPDT, you could swap the inner and outer chase sets and reverse the direction. Or did I miss that in the video? Gotta watch again... the music was awesome!

I have seen this build in a document that was powered by 117-125 AC wall voltage, and included all values for late 1970's parts.

Normally, there were separate "Color Organ" light boxes: one each for the left and right stereo outputs.

I am not guaranteeing a successful search.
