Figured out a new trick with DIYLC

Well, new to me anyway.
Its probably already been done by 8,000,0000000 people.


But, just in case someone here missed it, I'll post.


First the picture.



Done in DIYLC and very simple to do.

Open up another instance of DIYLC.
Copy and paste just the traces and pads of your layout.
in the new instance, increase the size of both traces and pads.
I have all my measurements in mm, I increased everything 2 mm.
Export Trace Mask.
Open in graphics program. As well as the Trace Mask of the original.
Inverse/Negative the colors. You may also want to draw over the component holes.
Copy and paste away.




Now watch, someones gonna tell me that DIYLC can do this already.
If so, that's OK, I enjoyed my moment of discovery anyway.

This is timely. I'm about to take a (surely ill-fated) crack at PCB layout with DIYLC. I like your results, nice work!
