Clear Coating Bare metal???

I was thinking of either building a glass box or just picking up a small aquarium at at a yard sale and put it in the sun on a hot day, toss a cover on it and use it to bake things. Kind of sparing the environment the use of electricity while doing something thats pretty toxic.

I was just trying to make a joke about the news that is she is saving the environment by not showering very often (maybe just weekly?).  My wife told me about this.  I don't really know from personally being near Ms. Roberts... . Maybe it's just a mean Hollywood rumor.  The (poor) connection was that solar ovens are environmentally friendly, so don't shower and use a solar oven. My bad for trying to make a stupid joke that I knew would probably need explaining. Not very funny when you have to explain them. Now it's REALLY not funny!!!   Maybe I should try to blame this one on my wife...just don't tell her.

BTW, it seems that a solar oven would be a good way to bake enclosures without using the kitchen oven or a toaster oven that might be difficult to evenly heat. There's a lot of designs on the web.

kitchen oven? That sounds like an awful idea. I love telling jokes that need explaining....I like to tell inside jokes when there is a group of people around and only one person gets the joke...so they are in a hysterical fit of laughter and everyone thinks they are crazy. I honestly thought your Julia Roberts thing had to do with pretty woman...never saw it.
I could always throw a thermometer in the fishtank to watch the temp....add shade when required.

Its such a nice day I decided to spray in the backyard....I wouldn't mind some cool fish tail patterns...considering my luck I'm expecting bird crap!
