I'm sure at least a few of you have seen the youtube video of the guy making glass pcbs with microscope slides and copper.

I like to work on veroboard, and I like how small circuits look on it.

What I'm thinking of, without having to etch anything just yet, is getting microscope slides and using adhesive copper tape cut to size for the traces.

I've seen PCBs of people who use copper tape and cut the design in with a vinyl cutter and peel the rest away. My biggest concern would be the copper tape sticking and drilling the glass.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I've seen a few videos like that a while back. I think the guy used all surface mount components so no drilling. I'm not sure Id go with this method myself. Off board wiring and components seem risky to me. I'm sure some one could pull it off for a stomp box .

I will suggest positive photo etching process its easy and fun!

Thanks! Yeah, it seems a little far fetched.

I have nothing against etching, I'm just bored/slightly intoxicated and it seemed like an awesome idea.

I don't know about making the boards, but when you've done, use these;

I use them for regular pcb's they're great.
