simple blender that works really well for bass

I used Jack Orman's jfet buffer to build a nice, simple blend box for bass when using distortion or other pedals that suck out the low end.  I don't have a schem or layout drawn up, but it's very simple, it only requires 3 of the buffers:

input-----buffer------------direct signal--------------lug 1
                |
                |                                         100k lin lug 2----------------output
                |
            buffer---send    return-----buffer---------lug 3
                           |          |
                       effect    effect
                         in         out

It works really well, and if you want you can add a simple low pass filter on the direct signal line after the buffer so you only get low frequencies passing to the amp, that was the clean signal is "sneaky" and subtle, and you don't hear the clean bass clanking through over your effect.  I used a 2.2uF cap in series with a 10k trim pot to ground (not shown on the schematic)

Fellow bass players who use fuzz, this makes a huge difference in your sound... :)

There's a vero layout on Jack's site, but I couldn't modify it so I didn't want to post it and have someone get confused.  It's at:
