So I have a LP/HP filter setup, freq is set at 550hz. I want them to be on a 3 way switch for hp/lp/unchanged. Any way to do this?

typically the on on on style of switch doesn't have them as rows that make for easy wiring, It's confusing to me why there isnt a switch that is simply
1---4 left on
2---5 Center on
3---6 Right on

SERIOUSLY. WTF.

This should work using a DPDT or SPDT On-Off-On switch. In One On position R1 is shorted out so you get LP, in the other On position R2 is shorted out so you get HP. In the middle you get a mix of HP and LP, if they're both set to the same frequency this is pretty much flat. You need to experiment with the values of R1 and R2, too small and the HP and LP will interact changing the response, too high and and depending on what follows the tone stack you'll get a volume drop in the middle position, try about 50k to start with.

You can also do it with a DPDT On-On-On like this one

and wiring it like in this schematic http://www.experimentalistsanonymous.com/diy/Schematics/ADSR%20Generators%20and%20Envelope%20Generators/Polyfusion%202044%20Envelope%20Follower.jpg

Instead of the 3 caps one would be the output of the LP, another the output of the HP and the last would be the input to the HP/LP circuit.

Why not just use a pot and make it variable?

You asked "Any way to do this?".

Now you say "for easy wiring ... WTF".

In mass production, switches should be simple even if it means messy wiring, because a simple switch is sturdy and cheap, and after you do a few hundred the workers get into a groove.

No switch-maker really cares about us DIY-ers.

These may work:

Small Bear 3P3T

Small Bear 4P3T

Small Bear DP3T Slide (On-On-On)

Tayda Slide Switch 2P3T Through Hole
