Problem with 2 stompboxes in one

Hi! I put together two effects, a BSIAB distortion and a LPBooster. The problem I have is that the BSIAB is very noisy, and the LPB clips whenever I use it.

Does anyone know what kind of problem I may have?

Regards!

1) One person's "noisy" is another person's "I thought all pedals sounded like this!".

2) The LPB-1 is supposed to be, or rather expecting to be, fed a modest input signal.  After all, its raison d'ĂȘtre is to take a modest level signal and make it bigger.  I don't know what order you have the circuits in or whether they are independently bypassed, but feeding it the output of the BSIAB is likely to demand more of that little circuit than a mere 9V supply can deliver; i.e., heavy clipping under the circumstances I imagine reflects normal functioning.

So, a little more information will get more useful feedback from us.

How noisy?  What sort of noise?

What order are they in?

Are they isolate-able from each other or normally wired in series?

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply.

I fixed the problem with the booster, one value for a resistor was wrong.

The BSIAB makes a hiss when engaged, quite strong. I guess its normal for a hi gain pedal?

The order is Booster --> Bsiab. They are wired in series on the same pcb.

Thanks!
