Hi folks,
I'm planning to build this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lOALk3wi1A4/T_xcmfDRI9I/AAAAAAAABwg/uiYLhBuNumk/s1600/Fix%2527d+Fuzz.png
It's the fix'd fuzz by blackout effectors
I've noticed there's a vp3203 in the powering section, what's its function? I guess it's filtering-smoothing the dc from power supply, right? Since I can't find one, can I go without it, or should I find a substitute?
Another question: there's a 2M pulldown resistor at the input of every stage. I'm not going to include in the pedal the option of switching-bypassing the stages, so only the first pulldown resistor is needed, am I right?
Thank you

The MOSFET is RG's polarity protection circuit.

Hey, thank you Kesh

Can I replace that part of the circuit with the classic cap+diode parallel from +9v to ground, like on many pedals?

Thank you again!

You could use a BS250P, which is the norm. I usually use a diode to ground though.
