took the kid to see " celebration day "  tonight at the show . i was really impressed , the sound was fantastic , and the performance was excellent as well . pages slop playing style , it never ceases to amaze me . his tones where excellent as well , using a whammy pedal now , and doing the stock hand gestures with it was chuckle worthy .

my kid is a huge JP fan .

i was thinking of trying some of his devices here , breadboarding a few of his key stomps .

any recomendations ? i rerally dont know much , i did look into it , i found a yt video with a guy who had a fart tone that seemed nothing like jp sound , not even ball park . for some reason tonebender mk 2 keeps popping into my head ... any silicon devices , or any thing that is really versatile / usable ? dont have any germs right now , well one nte i got from frys ...
im learning , we'll thats what i keep telling myself

Hi

That's an excellent idea. Especially for earlier stuff.

It may be a slightly altered tone to the originals, but I feel that a Rangemaster would be useful for lower gain settings. Have you considered a RM 'Axis' fuzz (Si, quiet, with good gain control)? Jimi H used one a lot. Much more versatile than a FuzzFace.

You *need* to look at Dave Main's forum. There's an absolute shedload of stuff there, for example this thread should provide interesting reading  :o

Jhs has a new pedal out called the Superbolt; it's supposed to sound like a vintage Supro amp. Personally I think it sounds awesome and really hits the nail on the head, they even have a demo out comparing the pedal to the real amps.

Prymaxe Vintage did a great demo where they go through some of the biggest zeppelin songs. here's the link:

Unfortunately the it costs $199! :(

As far as I know no one has made a layout for it, it literally just came out. I have a feeling it may be based on ROG's Superaux Deux....
