I need a little help with this one...

I have a pedal I am building that has a NASTY led pop.
I have been trying to get the Millennium bypass working with it to cure the issue.

I just etched a board and tried it with a wiring diagram I found online..
with DPDT switching, 9v battery, and DC adapter jack (with battery cut switch)

and OF COURSE... it did not work.  grrr

Does anyone have a VERIFIED wiring diagram of this switching setup they can direct me to or upload?

FOR REFERENCE:  This is the NOT WORKING diagram I built into my circuit  http://www.guitarthai.com/picpost/lessonpost/Q211.gif
I checked my work a 100 times...  It's built out exactly like this diagram...  and does not work

??
Are you certain it's LED pop? And what do you mean by "LED pop"?

The Millenium Bypass is not particularly intended to cure LED pop. It's to get true bypass and an LED with a DPDT switch. If there is some other LED circuit that was causing the pop, the Millenium might cure it, but that cure is a pure side effect.

I haven't dug through this, but I can't tell you how many posts we get that say "I built this exactly like this, checked it [insert your favorite number here] times, and I know I built it right, but it still doesn't work." Many of these are then followed by "Oh, no! I found out that I..."

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
