I picked up a used big box DMM. The unit works fine but there's a ground wire that connects to the back plate and one end and is broken off at the other. Does anyone have a gut shot of where it goes or have one they could look at and let me know? Thanks in advance.

It connects to the side of the chassis where the power transformer would be mounted.  There's usually a lug mounted there.

So lug on side of chassis to screw/lug on bottom plate?
