Hi again!

I have a question to make, I made the power supply from tonepad http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=111 and I want to add an extra 12VDC output. My idea was to use another LM317T with a resistor of 1k to get 12VDC. The problem is that I don't know what parts I can use commonly in both outputs, meaning, the rectifier diodes and the 470uf caps, the problem is the D5 diode, I don't know what it does exactly, and if it may bring me trouble.

Thank you !

Kesh

D1 to D4 and the 1000uF/2x470uF are common.

Everything else should be doubled up.

D5 prevents the 47uF cap discharging into the LM317
