guitar mixer question.

I recently found a mixer schematic on aroncake and I thought, I probably need to build this. Which I do now. But I found out that it needs a  2n3819 n-channel rf amplifier which I dont have...could I subtitute a 2n5952 since they are both n channel rf amplifier?

Most likely yes, it depends on what its function is in the circuit.
If you're refering to this circuit http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/mixer1.asp , it's being used a buffer (common drain amplifier) so it shouldn't matter much

also, note that their pinouts are different

Vgs-off looks pretty different on the data sheets 2n5458/9 might be better, but these things are so random anyway. The RF is mostly irrelevant to an audio mixer.
