Hi all, I've just built a Bazz Fuss with a 3pdt stomp switch to change between two different transistors (5088 and BC109). At the moment I've only got it hooked up to a breakout box and so haven't properly wired in/out jacks, dc power jack, or the main on/off 3pdt stomp switch, but am planning to get all that done tomorrow. I'd like to be able to add an LED that lights up when one of the transistors is being used, and switches off when the other one is in use, how would I do this?

I currently have the switch set up like this:

you do not need to switch all 3 legs. you can switch just 2 and in many occasions, just 1, leaving the other 1 or 2 connected

use the remaining pole for the led
always think outside the box

I was typing up the same reply when LuciferTrip posted.

If you want to use a 3pdt switch, leave the emitters of both transistors connected permanently to ground and use the spare poles to switch one or two LEDs.
