Vintage EHX Polychorus Trimpots?

I know there have been several posts on this specific question but I want a new and thorough one that'll answer many peoples questions.

Anyways,

I have read that there are trimpots on here that really shouldn't be messed with as they are to factory specs and likely set with an oscilloscope.

The pedal is fine and works like it should I'd imagine, but my problem is the effect volume is a little too loud when compared to my regular clean volume. Is there a trimpot that I could adjust to match the levels.

I read that there are two gain trimpots, is one of these my answer?

This probably is incorrect labeling, but I can't really look at the other side of the circuit board as some one super glued a few of the knobs on. I found out when I broke the pot shaft so I'd rather not damage the pedal further. I labeled the trimpots 1-7 if someone could help identify them.
