I would want to be able to increase the boost stage gain. I found a schematic over at the other forum, but I don't know if it would be useful to you or not.

Well, forget what I posted about using a switch to put an additional gain control pot in series then. It now occurs to me that you could, however, use the boost switch to select either the signal path through the original gain pot, OR a signal path through a boost gain pot. That would mean you get two identical yet independent gain knobs, one dedicated for each 'channel'. It wouldn't go beyond the maximum gain your pedal currently has, but it would allow you to dial in the best gains for both normal and boost.

I'd like the schematic, even though I think I wouldn't actually need it.

As a result of logistics, I'm going to build the Black '65 first. I had the parts ordered already. But the Lavache is high on my to-build list as well.

Edit: I'm going for a 4PDT footswitch instead of a 2PDT toggle for the boost, so that I can include the two independent gain knobs in my build. I can't see how that would fail (famous last words).
Circular logic is best, because it's circular.
