whats your fave brand of batteries and which ones do you avoid like crazy? Simple but broad question to get a conversation going really.

Blue Panasonics from the dollar store. For recycling into battery snaps, Duracells.

blue panasonics for everything but fuzz, for fuzz, cheap "family dollar" style carbon comp batts i think sound better.
for anything with an appreciable current draw, gotta be duracells. i agree, their snaps are the best for recycling, too.

Cheap supermarket jobbies for the fuzz face, wallwarts for everything else.
