aquaboy/dm-2 help please?

hope somebody can help me with this. i've spent a lot of time on my own and could use a fresh set of eyes. built an aquaboy that won't make a sound. it's the 2012 edition. http://madbeanpedals.com/projects/Aquaboy/docs/Aquaboy_ver2_revised.pdf
made my own board (just made another post about this topic). used a 3205. here are my voltages:

Q3 and Q4 voltages looked potentially suspect to me so I replaced Q4 with no change. checked all my resistors. pots are ok. all the trim pots seem ok except the 10K cancel trimmer doesn't seem to cause a change in voltage anywhere. I replaced it but still no  change. On the schematic, pin 1 of IC3 is labeled as ground but i have a voltage of 4.6V. so either there is a problem there or there is a difference in pinouts between the 3005 and 3205 that wasn't reflected in the schematic.

This is a bit elementary but.....did you install the jumpers for the 3205 as per the PDF instruction you posted?]

The pinouts between the MN30XX series and the MN32XX series are the same but....and I mean but....With the MN30XX series the GND pin goes to positive voltage and the VDD pin goes to GND.

The MN32XX series (this is what you have) connects GND pin to GND and VDD to positive voltage.

Without looking at the schematics, I'm sure there are more things that need to be changed between the two versions. Perhaps a voltage regulator?

The part of the PDF on the BBD jumpers is a bit confusing at first glance. Both of the ICs are marked MN3205 at the top. the jumper orientation is highlighted in green. The MN3205 jumpers run vertically or the long length of the BBD.

I built one of these a few months ago, worked really well.
If you built the 2012 version you have posted the wrong pdf, this is the right one http://juansolo.demon.co.uk/stompage/schematics/Madbean/Aquaboy2012.pdf

Did you add the jumper just below the MPB logo on the board ?

Your Q4 voltages do not look right, maybe you have a short between emitter and base ? Check that area.

Also the voltages on the LF353 don't look good, pins 1, 2 & 3 should have roughly the same voltage, and so should pins 5, 6 & 7. Pin 4 should be 0.0 v, are your ground connections ok ?

What are you powering it with ? If you are using a 9v battery you might want to try a PSU, as a battery will not be able to provide adequate current to make this pedal work properly.

Hey thanks for the reply! Hmm, looking at that link i put up it seems that he has put a different pdf up there than the one i downloaded which is the 2012 version and the link is for the 2010 version. curious. anyway i did put the jumpers in and have checked them against the documentation and schematic over and over the same way you look in the same spot over and over when you can't find your keys haha!

and i will probably check compulsively again after replying to this

Oh, did just notice a difference between my pdf and the one i linked to. R19 is listed as 100R in my pdf and 1K5 in the link. hmmm. Guess I'll be looking into that...

  Yeah shit, where did I leave my keys.

Keep looking, use a magnifying glass if need be, and also use your meter to check for possible shorts on adjacent pads/tracks. It will be worth it in the end, a really nice clean analog delay.
