I built this clone of the Eternity Burst , it all works & sounds pretty good . but the tone control is very subtle at best .
The BOM called for a 5KB pot , i was just wondering if thats the right value for this build ?
Is there a quick simple way to get a better tone control out of this build ?

Thanks for any help !

Check your 330 ohm off the tone pot wiper.

If a 3.3K snuck in there, it would be real mild.

As a quick-check: short the "330" and turn the pot. If that makes a big tone difference, ah-ha. With the 330 shorted it may distort or howl at the extremes, so find a proper few-hundred ohm resistor.
