A friend asked me to fix the connector on his Panasonic RP HTx7 cans and I have a simple question.

In the cable there are 3 wires - red, green, and white. I just wanted to make sure which is the ground. I've had conflicting research that says it goes:

Left - green
Right - red
Ground - white

I've also seen places that say the ground is the GREEN and left is WHITE.

There is no manual online, any insight is greatly appreciated!

If you've got a meter set it to a low ohm setting and measure the resistance between all of the pairs of leads, so red-green, red-white and white-green. You should find that one pair of leads gives you about twice the resistance of the other pairs, this pair is the left and right, the other lead is ground.
