I'm going to buy a SPDT toggle switch from Small Bear, here's the link to the item:

The bushing is 3/16"...it I'm going to mount that on the fact of an enclosure (probably a 125b but I guess it doesn't matter), what sized drill hole should be drilled?  I think 5mm is just big enough but I'm not certain.

+1 on the reamer. You can't beat a good reaming, eh Rob ;)

That's a ~0.010" (0.25mm) clearance hole, which is plenty at this sort of diameter.  I wouldn't go any lower than 0.005" (0.013 mm) for fear of running into interference unless I measured the actual part/had a drawing with manufacturing tolerances on it/suggested mounting hole size.  I keep a 6" digital caliper on my bench for this reason.  Even cheapies are plenty accurate for this sort of work.

Drill it 3/16" and use the reamer, if needed to fine tune. If you're drilling and then painting you'll have to resize the holes after the paint anyways and the reamer's invaluable for that.

That and you'll have to go to a specialty shop to pick up a 5mm whereas 3/16" will be included in most any drillbit set you purchase, (unless of course you have a mm set of bits already.)  And a plug for the specialty shops, the bits they sell are far superior to any you're going to pick up at the big box hardware stores, worth the extra money.

+++Dial caliper, nice one on the workbench and vernier scale calipers at every other point in the house where pencils and pens have gathered.
