my first was from a photocopy of anderton's fuzz-face, (complete with circuit error) in the late 80's. I used the highest gain silicons I had, like he said, and built it into a horwood "sardine can" case. probably had the pots wrong, but it worked. after a fashion. lent it to a hendrix wanna-be, never saw it again.
