2N930, 2N1132, 2N2905A - Anyone using these in fuzz projects?

I've acquired bags of these and found them to be very unstable. This is mainly due to the age and prior storage conditions.
Any of you in pedal land working with these transistors?

I've used the 2N2905A in the Q4 of my Skyripper. Works great.
