I finally got it working.
I went back and checked the values of some small caps and found i had put a 103 in place of a 102. Sorted that, test wired it and it worked intermitantly.
Turns out it was the volume pot that was bad.
Happy days.
Its working now.
It has Gain and headroom to spare.
At the top end of the gain pot it gets a bit more trebly and very mushy (for my taste)
I find that if i keep the gain at a level where its not too mushy (dirty) and push the volume it does a great job.

I just need to get my OCD3 and my TS808 working now and i have them all working.
Breadboard comes today too. I'm so excited.(Does a victory dance)
