This thread (once again) reminds me of one of the saddest days in my life...  :icon_sad:

C'mon, tell us

Gregory Kollins

I once salvaged a power amp from a church and "fixed" it (it was hooked up wrong and they thought it was broken  :icon_eek:). I gave it back to them... Because I'm a good person.

This was the longest, most developed "dumpster score" thread I could find, so here goes!

This was being thrown out by a local music store, a friend of mine who works there deserves the credit for the save.  Technically there was no actual entry to the dumpster, so it is not an actual dive in the classic sense, but it was REALLY close....parts stacked at the rear door, a mere feet (meters for my European friends) from the bin!

Four headphone amps, a bunch of sheet metal.  Some amp chassis or pedalboards with built in headphone amps, I'm not quite sure yet!

A digitech display rack, I guess these pedals aren't that popular, ha ha.....

I see a lot of TVs and computer monitors but keep passing them up. (Maybe because I've got two monitors in the garage I still need to cannibalize.)

One time, though, I found my purpose.
