Hey,  I think the answer to this question was floating around recently, but i didnt pay attention when i read it :(

Basically, when the volume on my guitar is zero i get an increase in noise through the tonebender. Id have to test tonight again, but im pretty sure it was like a switch, as the pot hits zero, the noise increases quite a bit. I'm sure i've had this happen with other germanium fuzzes in the past.

Any obvious explanation you can think of?

Thanks for any assistance!

Thanks Jimi, I thought i did ok on both of those accounts (q1 and q2 are less then 50ua and q3 is about 200ua) but ill check it over again.  The input wire isnt shielded eitehr so i might mess around with that and see if shielding will reduce it.  Its not a HUGE amount of noise, but its definitely pronounced when the volume hits zero.
Thanks again,
Paul

Could be HF oscillation.  Does the behavior change with different fuzz (attack) settings?
