I searched for a thread/topic like this on this forum but i saw no straight answers with this problem with the effect.

The trouble that i'm having with it is that the booster doesn't boost until the volume pot is almost all the way up, i used a 100k Linear pot with a 100k resistor on the two outer lugs, thus making it a reverse log, or atleast closer too it.

I also saw in this thread: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=60008.msg895178;topicseen That someone changed the 22k resistor for a 2m2 one and it worked but it didn't work from me.

I don't think that the pot is the problem and the transistor oreantation is right and all.
I'm gonna scope it on monday when i get access to the schools oscilloscope.

If anyone has any idea how to fix it please help!

Honey, let's sell the children, move to Zanzibar and start taking Opium, rectaly.

There is a 12K in parallel with it. Very little change happens until the 100K pot is turned-up near 12K. Which is the last 1/8th of the rotation.

That makes the 100K close to 50K total but does NOT change the taper. You still must turn 7/8 before much happens, all the action is in the last 1/8 turn.

Try a 10K linear. You'll have some action at half-turn.

25K or 50K REVERSE taper will be MUCH better.

I can't access a reverse log taper, they don't sell them here.

Is there any other way to make the pedal fully work and not using a reverse log?

You talked about using a 10k lin but that wouldn't work until half way.

Try the 10K linear. It's better than what you have.

Try a 10K *Audio* taper, but switch the two outer wires. Then label the knob 10-0 instead of 0-10, and learn to turn the "wrong way".
