Alright Guys, here's the skinny. I acquired a DIY analog chorus pedal in trade. My buddy who built it has decent skills and I know a bit about soldering. All the guts looked like they are done well. When I first got this it sounded oh so warm and chorusy I was absolutely floored, but then I hit it with a lot of gain infront with some pretty heavy pedals and now there is a harshness to the upper register of notes similar to when a tube is going out on certain notes and makes a dischorded ear piercing reproduction of the original note. I opened it up and smelled around, nothing smells or looks burnt. There are a ton of componets here to test out, Just wondering if anyone would help me narrow down which ones I'll be taking out first to test. Thanks.
