Hi all,

Do any of you lovely folk have a good current production jfet that can be used in phaser circuits that is similar to the 2n5458/7?

looking to buy from farnell today and want to get all from one place:)

After taking a look at what you're up against at Farnell, (nothing left in stock) I would advise purchasing the JFETs elsewhere.

There are plenty of other suppliers that still stock a range of JFETs at a reasonable price.

I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

yer it seems as though jfets are impossible to source at big electronics companies now as they are all discontinued!! :icon_evil:

Was hoping to get them in a couple of days, looks like bits box is the best in the UK

If pressed, you could always just use a j309 sot-23 package...

I use SOT23 jfets quite frequently on breadboard (I simply solder three 'extender' wires to each of the SOT-23 legs (it's not to hard).
