I bet you've done this.

I placed an order with Tayda a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't arrived yet. In the meantime, I've completely forgotten what I was going to build with the stuff.

From the charge pump and diodes, I know it was something that works better with 18V - other than that, the only thing to go on is the pot values.

Here's the order ..

MAX1044 MAX1044CPA Switched Capacitor Voltage Converter IC      Ordered: 2

1N5817 Diode Schottky 1A 20V           Ordered: 10

1N4007 1A 1000V Rectifier Diode    Ordered: 10

3.3nF 0.0033uF 100V 5% Mylar Film Capacitors              Ordered: 20

250K OHM Linear Taper Potentiometer          Ordered: 4

250K OHM Logarithmic Taper Potentiometer             Ordered: 2

1M OHM Logarithmic Taper Potentiometer           Ordered: 2

If you use Firefox, then all your history will be in the order in which you accessed the pages. So, have a look through until you get to your Tayda order confirmation page or have a look in Outlook/Hotmail/whatever for their confirmation email and note the date/time stamp, then look back through your history for which circuit diagrams you were looking at in the day or so before. If that fails, it might be that you had the schematic on your HDD, so have a look through your various directories and sort by "Last Accessed" and see what you were looking at shortly before your order.

Hope you find it.

Been there, but what usually happens is I know what I'm going to build when I receive the order, but I don't build it right away. Months later I wonder why I bought the stuff.

Sorry i can't solve the mystery. I did a forum search for the parts and this was the only thread that was returned. :)

Got it !!!

It's a Brunetti Mercury Box

Following Tirees lead, I checked my folder of layouts again, but couldn't find anything. Then realised I had created a sub folder around the same date - because there's a bunch of different schemes for the Mercury.

Mystery solved - back on your heads  :)  Thanks R.O.
