I;ve used madbean's layout
http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/Bloviator/docs/Bloviator.pdf
It doesn't work. Like at all. No sound, dead :D

Here are my voltages

3. 3.73
4 0
5 4.1

7 4.13
8 8.24

Ic2 ( tl084 )

Got it to work. It's really bassy. And kind of lowers the overall volume level. A bit, but it does. I;m using it in front of my amp. Because I don't have the send return jack's. And it kills a lot of hum that. It's great for adding some balls to the sound, and definition as well. It sucks when i switch my pickups to single coil.

I must have done something wrong here ... it's muddy as hell and it has volume decrease. And it has zero sound when switched to single coils ... any help?

Double-check pin 3 of the first two ICs. that measurement looks wrong, because if those pins really were at 3.73-3.74v then pins 1 & 2 should also be 3.73-3.74v. I don't know what could cause that difference if it's real, unless the ICs are in the wrong orientation or something like that.

C6 was 100n instead of 100p :D
Works great now.
