Questions about trim pots for fuzz faces

As I understand it the 33k and the 8.2k resistors are commonly replaced with trim pots in order to bias Q1 and Q2. What values of trim pots are best for the 33k ?   for the 8.2k?    I used a "103" trim pot for the 8.2k resistor and the available adjustment on the trim pot only allowed me to bring the voltage down to -4.63 (but it sounded good). Would a 203 trim pot have been better?  Thanks.

You can put a fixed resistor (e.g. 4K7) in series with your trimmer to increase the maximum resistance without reducing the precision of the 10k trimmer.
