I recently put together a phase 45 from www.tonepad.com

http://www.tonepad.com/project.asp?id=13 is the project file.

On the build I did sub a couple of parts... a 6.8 k resistor for the 7.5k and an 18k for the 20k (had a tough time finding those values) that and I subbed all of the .05 caps with .047's.  (availability again)

when i fired it up, I am getting some crazy oscillating sounds... I am getting signal of the guitar underneath the oscillation, and the pots are working as intended.. the oscillations speed up and slow down with one and change depth and pitch with the other (ok... pitch not intended, but you know what I mean)

I'm gonna dig at it a bit more, and maybe post a full debug later, but in the meantime, are those subs a problem at all?
and if not, any idea what would cause this circuit to go apeshit?  (besides that fact that I built it and my projects usually have a 2 in 3 success rate on first fire up lol)

thanks

I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)
