Hi all,

I found a nice enclosure to host a MFOS Noise Toaster, and I'd like to keep this box as is without modifying any major stuff. The box is a "Data transfer switch" like this http://s3.amazonaws.com/kpsurplus_images/b3a5b2dc0f99c9914bf0d3b2e56b032d689f8c87.jpg with a rotary switch for the A/B switch.
I'd like to use this switch as the on/off SPST switch of the Noise Toaster, so do you guys know if it is possible to modify a multiple throw rotary switch to get a simple spst switch ? Maybe I just need to leave only two "levels" in the rotary switch ?

Sorry if it's a dumb question. :P

Thanks!
Here is the switch in the box:

i see those in thrift stores all the time. the box would be cool for an amptop poedal like a rangmaster etc.

use a meter to check your contacts to see what connects. you will be able to make it do what you want.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it tomorrow.
Yeah the box is pretty cool itself, I found it in the scrap iron bin of the place where I am training.
