It is. There are a lot of comments on this vero saying that it's an amazing boost pedal. Sadly I can't for the life of me figure out whats wrong

I guess either your circuit has a problem or the components have a problem. I am a little confused as to why you can not get any gain out of the FET - by bypassing the source resistor with a capacitor, the gain should be quite high. If it is not, then the FET is either not correctly properly, not biased properly - but it sounds reasonably clean yes? - or there is something very wrong with your FET. There has been recently been a problem with 'faked' FETs including J201s and 2N5457s - where did you get yours from?

When I turn it on the volume just decreases a little bit, but other than that the eq changes a bit but still very clean
And I got them from mammoth electronics

You might want to read through the thread below to see if anybody has had any problems with 2N5457s from Mammoth. If not, then I guess you need to take the board out, check all the components and off-board wiring is as it should be, and then re-flow all the solder joints.

I made no modifications to the circuit but instead so having 2 SPST switches, I have 1 DPDT on/off/on switch that switches between fat/normal/bright
All the components are the right values. The 2SC1815 transistor I used, the full name of it is 2SC1815-GR. Does the GR mean anything?
The 2N5457 transistor has these voltage readings
Q1
D: 7.67
S: 0.34
G: 0

The 2SC1815-GR has these readings
Q2
E: 2.48
C: 8.29
B: 2.94
