Foxx Tone Machine, Tychobrahe Octavia or simply adding a Green Ringer alongside a Fuzz Face?  Curious as to which one/configuration offers the most in terms of tonal options, range & practical application.

I've made/used easily a half-dozen or more: FTM, Tychobrahe, Mayer Octavia, Green Ringer, Superfuzz, ZVex Octane, Anderton Octave-Doubling Fuzz, , Elektor Octave-Doubling Fuzz, Gus Smalley's Octave-Up Sick Box, the Octave Fuzz on the BOss ROD-10, and maybe even a few others.  The Foxx has the most robust octave sound of any of them.  That is not to say the others lack their individual charms, but if you want an octave-up you can easily and reliably produce and hear, the Foxx is your friend.
